Greetings Friends and Neighbors.

Just watched a debate on the reasoning behind removing confederate monuments from locations in Virginia. I would be interested in hearing what some of you might have to say about the subject. I am really not in favor of removal of any historical monuments personally. Instead I propose that next to monuments or symbols that represent a negative facet of our countries development, erect a second monument that represents how far we have come since that time. What are your thoughts on the subject?
